Who teaches it?

Tahnia Khanom delivers the course, a qualified Religious Education teacher

How is it taught?

You will have 2 70-minute lessons a week for two years, followed by two examinations.

What do we learn?

You will learn subjects such as War and Peace, Abortion, Marriage, Medical Ethics, Why we Exist and Heaven and Hell are discussed from students and two world religion’s perspectives.

Where could it lead?

A Religious Studies GCSE is regarded as a good one to have when applying for a college or a profession. The qualification shows you are capable of philosophical thinking and reflection, and have a considered opinion on issues affecting the world today.
