Based in Kidderminster, our school predominantly takes students from the Wyre Forest area as well as from schools throughout wider-Worcestershire. Supporting our young people and their families within their communities is at the heart of everything we do. We are proud of our local area and local community. The Wyre Forest is an area of great beauty, cultural diversity and has a proud GRT heritage. However, many of the students who attend our school have had some or many disadvantages or challenges that have impacted their experience of learning before joining us at CPA.
The surrounding areas of our school are recognised by the government to be more deprived than most neighbourhoods in England. Government data shows that only 8% of neighbourhoods in England are more deprived (ranked 2,835 out of 33,755 neighbourhoods).

We support our young people in removing the additional barriers to learning that socio-economic deprivation impacts, to ensure that they have the best possible futures. For example, our students start the day with breakfast, whenever they arrive. All meals, uniform and school necessities are provided for families. We welcome our families to come to us for help with whatever needs may arise, as together, we will work it out!
