Keeping our children safe

On Monday 31st January, we are hosting a surprise guest speaker who has an incredible story to tell.
As you may be aware a small number of our pupils have been in concerning incidents within the wider community. These incidents have involved people from outside of the ContinU Plus Academy possessing knives and threatening to use them. There are also national and local risks posed by those within our communities who exploit children, (e.g. County lines and child sexual exploitation).
Our school is very safe and secure, with a secure boundary and a highly trained group of staff. We also have access and good relationships with a large number of external agencies who help us protect and support our children.
Timings for the school day are 12:00 till 14:30, transport will be provided.
