Paws for thought
Welcome back to what has been a very positive start by students, parents and staff.
This year sees the launch of a “Skills Passport” for students that will enable all of our students to be prepared for the world outside of formal education and allow our students to showcase their many talents when they leave us and go onto college, apprenticeships or employment.
A focus for us as a school this year is to ensure the very best climate for learning so that students are fully prepared for lessons and distractions are eliminated. To ensure that this is possible we are asking for everyone’s ongoing support in ensuring that students are aware that if they bring mobile phones into school they are turned off and put away during lessons. We ask that as parents you discuss this with your child and ensure that they understand that school will not be held responsible for any damage or loss of a phone/headphones and if students are caught using their phones in a lesson they will be requested to keep their phone at home/hand it into reception daily for the remainder of the term.
We appreciate your support with this and look forward to celebrating another year of good results for our students.
