At the ContinU Plus Academy an external, qualified Careers Adviser provides impartial careers information, advice & guidance to key stage 4 students regarding post 16 options. Students are seen on a one to one basis at key transition points, helping to raise aspirations, build confidence and enhance decision making skills concerning their future choices. The Careers Adviser also offers support at parents & option events. The student’s provision includes an opportunity to produce CVs, take part in a mock interview, careers & subject research, exploration of post 16 options and applications to education, employment & training.  Liaison with staff, parents & providers encourage students to make successful transitions into positive destinations.
