Enrichment
The ContinU Plus Academy (CPA) has a desire to nurture a culture of social awareness and responsibility, so that pupils can contribute to the well-being of the school community and society as a whole by instilling confidence in social skills and building self-esteem. This could be through academic pursuits, extra-curricular activities, curricular activities and SMSC.
The purpose of enrichment is to improve the experience of the learning process. The range of enrichment activities will fulfil a social and cultural role, raising the employment and personal aspirations of students. The ContinU Plus Academy will provide opportunities for a range of enrichment activities for every student, delivered during the curriculum and during lesson 3 on Friday.
Students will be encouraged to participate regularly during tutor sessions and skills days.
