Pupil premium is allocated to support children from low income families who are eligible for free school meals. Funding is also applicable to children who have been looked after for more than six months. A premium has also been introduced for all children whose parents are currently serving in the armed forces. The ContinU Plus Academy will receive pupil premium from our pupils home schools, calculated on the duration of the pupils placement with us. We are committed to using the pupil premium to close the gaps between these pupils and others in our school.
Our pupil premium will be used to enrich pupils lives, enabling them to access positive and exciting opportunities. Through these opportunities we will monitor pupil self esteem, well being and academic pupil outcomes.
Targetted coaching sessions and interventions at point of need will be available to our pupils, with a rich daily program of extra curricular enrichment sessions to give all of our pupils access to a wide range of life experiences.
All pupils at the CPA will have an individual pupil provision map clearly showing progress and provision, including the value added by the pupil premium whe applicable. The CPA is committed to thereupeutic and academic targeted interventions in addition to a curriculum that enriches our pupils positive realities.
